Absurd Terminator History:

What's new in Terminator 3 ? - see at Terminator-3 website :))

What's new in version 2.9:

  • Now program correctly work in Windows'95;
  • Protection scheme improved;
  • Minor bugs fixed.

What's new in version 2.7:

  • New command prompt key: /kill [TitleOfProgramm] - to kill the program, which name is contained a phrase [TitleOfProgram], for example:
    • terminator.exe /kill winword - kill MS Winword,
    • terminator.exe /kill word - kill MS Winword & MS WordPad,
    • terminator.exe /kill pad - kill MS WordPad & Notepad.
  • Functions map/disconnect network disks available and in Windows'2000 too;
  • Protection scheme improved.

What's new in version 2.5:

  • New function: Empty Recycle Bin - you can clear Recycle Bin from system tray (it is convenient for example when many windows are open and the icon of a Recycle Bin is not visible on a desktop) or with command prompt keys /EmptyRecycle  (especially it is useful if you want to clear Recycle Bin on start Windows, in this case you can run Terminator with this key from scheduler or from command file);
  • New function: Clear Document History - you can clear menu "Documents" for one mouse click instead of five actions (command line key /EmptyDocs);
  • Bags fixed.

What's new in version 2.0:

  • Command prompt keys: /shutdown, /restart, /logoff,
    /screensaver, /cdeject, /cdclose
      (you can use it in command files or in schedulers, for example - for terminating AOL after downloading, in this case Terminator doesn't load in memory, only selected function is executed) - thanks to Mark Vincett;
  • "Add/remove programs" item in icon menu and in main window - open "uninstall programs" dialog window very quickly - now it is not necessary to open it from "Start" -> "Set-up" -> "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove programs";
  • Support Windows 2000;
  • Show an icon in system tray or not you can now set up;
  • Run default Windows screen saver (instead of "monitor off" function);
  • Map/disconnect network disks (only W95/98/ME);
  • Resizing of main window (it's interesting...:).
